【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardprovidesguidelinesforthemanagementofwastewaterutilitiesandfortheassessmentofwastewaterservices.ThisInternationalStandardisapplicabletopubliclyandprivatelyownedandoperatedwastewaterutilities,butdoesnotfavouranyparticularownershiporoperationalmodel.NOTE1Wastewaterisalwaysgeneratedwhenwaterisusedorconsumed.Accordingly,sourcesofwastewatercanberesidential,industrial,commercialorinstitutional.Collectedstormwateror(melted)snowcanalsobeconsideredaswastewater,asitoftencarriescontaminantsandpathogenspickedupfromairorgroundsurfacesonitswaytoacollectionsystem.Incertaincircumstances,especiallyinundevelopedareas,sanitarywasteiscollectedinanundilutedform.ThisInternationalStandardaddresseswastewatersystemsintheirentiretyandisapplicabletosystemsatanylevelofdevelopment(e.g.pitlatrines,on-sitesystems,networks,treatmentfacilities).ThefollowingarewithinthescopeofthisInternationalStandard:-thedefinitionofalanguagecommontodifferentstakeholders;-objectivesforthewastewaterutility;-guidelinesforthemanagementofwastewaterutilities;-serviceassessmentcriteriaandrelatedexamplesofperformanceindicators,allwithoutsettinganytargetvaluesorthresholds.ThefollowingareoutsidethescopeofthisInternationalStandard:-methodsofdesignandconstructionofwastewatersystems;-regulationofthemanagementstructureandthemethodologyofwastewaterserviceactivitiesofoperationandmanagement;-regulationofthecontentofcontractsorsubcontracts;-topicsrelatedtothesystemsinsidebuildings,betweenthepoint-of-dischargeandthepoint-of-collection.NOTE2ThisInternationalStandard,ISO24510andISO24512compriseaseriesofstandardsaddressingwaterservices.ItisthereforeadvisabletousethesethreeInternationalStandardsinconjunctionwitheachother.NOTE3ThelistoftermsanddefinitionsinClause2iscommontothisInternationalStandard,ISO24510andISO24512.NOTE4AnnexAcontainsthreetablesofcorrespondencebetweenequivalenttermsinEnglish,FrenchandSpanish.
