【摘要】:ThispartofIEC62055specifiesaphysicallayerprotocolofthestandardtransferspecification(STS)fortransferringunitsofcreditandothermanagementinformationbetweenapoint-of-sale(POS)systemandanSTS-compliantelectricitypaymentmeter.Itspecifies?encodingoftokendataontotokencarriersinthephysicallayerprotocolatthePOSforvariousTokenCarrierTypessuchasnumericandmagneticcards;?decodingoftokendatafromtokencarriersinthephysicallayerprotocolatthepaymentmeterforvariousTokenCarrierTypessuchasnumericandmagneticcards.ItisintendedforusebymanufacturersofpaymentmetersthathavetoaccepttokensthatcomplywiththeSTS,andalsobymanufacturersofPOSsystemsthathavetoproduceSTScomplianttokens,andshouldbereadinconjunctionwithIEC62055-41.NOTE1Althoughdevelopedforpaymentsystemsforelectricity,thestandardalsocoverstokensusedinotherutilityservices,suchaswaterandgas.NOTE2STS-compliantproductsarerequiredtocomplywithselectivepartsofthisInternationalStandardonly,whichshouldbethesubjectofthepurchasecontract(seeAnnexA).
