【摘要】:ThisEuropeanStandardspecifiesmethodsusedtoevaluatetheexternalcorrosionhazardsofwellcasings,aswellascathodicprotectionmeansanddevicestobeimplementedinordertopreventcorrosionoftheexternalpartofthesewellsincontactwiththesoil.ThisEuropeanStandardappliestoanygas,oilorwaterwellwithmetalliccasing,whethercementedornot.However,inspecialconditions(shallowcasing:e.g.50m,andhomogeneoussoil),EN12954canbeusedtoachievethecathodicprotectionandassessitsefficiency.ThisEuropeanStandardalsodescribestechniquesallowingdeterminationofthecurrentrequiredforprotectionandensuringcorrectoperationofthecathodicprotectiondevicesinstalled.
