【摘要】:ThisEuropeanStandardspecifiestestmethodsfordeterminingthestrengthanddurabilityofthestructureofalltypesofindoordomesticseatingforadultswithoutregardtomaterials,design/constructionormanufacturingprocesses.Testmethodsfortheassessmentofageinganddegradationarenotincluded.Thetestsarenotintendedtoassessthedurabilityofupholsterymaterials,suchasupholsteryfillingmaterialsandupholsterycoversnoraretheyintendedtoassessthedurabilityofmechanismssuchasthoseusedinconvertiblesofabedsandrecliningandtiltingchairs.Thetestsaredesignedtobeappliedtoanarticleoffurniturethatisfullyassembledandreadyforuse.Notalltestsarenecessarlyapplicabletoalltypesofseating.TheStandarddoesnotincludeanyrequirements.SafetyrequirementsarespecifiedinEN12520.
