【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardspecifiestechniquesforthemanualultrasonictestingoffusion-weldedjointsinmetallicmaterialsofthicknessgreaterthanorequalto8mmwhichexhibitlowultrasonicattenuation(especiallythatduetoscatter)atobjecttemperaturesfrom0°Cto60°C.Itisprimarilyintendedforuseonfullpenetrationweldedjointswhereboththeweldedandparentmaterialareferritic.Wherematerial-dependentultrasonicvaluesarespecifiedinthisInternationalStandard,theyarebasedonsteelshavinganultrasonicsoundvelocityof(5920±50)m/sforlongitudinalwavesand(3255±30)m/sfortransversewaves.ThisInternationalStandardspecifiesfourtestinglevels,eachcorrespondingtoadifferentprobabilityofdetectionofimperfections.GuidanceontheselectionoftestinglevelsA,B,andCisgiveninAnnexA.ThisInternationalStandardspecifiesthattherequirementsoftestinglevelD,whichisintendedforspecialapplications,beinaccordancewithgeneralrequirements.TestinglevelDcanonlybeusedwhendefinedbyspecification.Thisincludestestsofmetalsotherthanferriticsteel,testsonpartialpenetrationwelds,testswithautomatedequipment,andtestsatobjecttemperaturesoutsidetherange0°Cto60°C.ThisInternationalStandardcanbeusedfortheassessmentofindications,foracceptancepurposes,byeitherofthefollowingtechniques:a)evaluationbasedprimarilyonlengthandechoamplitudeofthesignalindication;b)evaluationbasedoncharacterizationandsizingoftheindicationbyprobemovementtechniques.Thetechniquesusedshallbespecified.
